We are looking for an experienced Analog IC Designer to design and develop high-performance analog and mixed-signal IC blocks for next-generation power solutions. This is a hands-on role with end-to-end ownership. You will work from concept through silicon validation—covering architecture, circuit design, simulation, layout, and lab bring-up. You will play a key role in translating advanced power architectures into robust, high-performance silicon, working closely with power electronics engineers to turn concepts into high-performance, real-world solutions.

About Skycore Semiconductors

Skycore is a Denmark-based fabless semiconductor company developing advanced high-performance power solutions for the next generation of data centers and other applications with extreme power demands.

Our edge lies in the co-development of advanced power converter architectures and highly specialized power management ICs, enabling high-performance, compact, cost-effective, and system-optimized solutions aligned with the extreme requirements and fast development timelines of next-generation data center power architectures.

At Skycore, you will join a focused and ambitious team building cutting-edge power conversion technology from the ground up. We collaborate closely with leading industry partners and research institutions worldwide and are backed by strategic seed funding to accelerate our product development and market entry in data center power delivery.

Skycore is a Startup Member of the Open Compute Project (OCP) and an industry member of the Berkeley Power & Energy Center (BPEC).

You will:

• Design and develop analog and mixed-signal IC blocks from concept to silicon validation

• Drive circuit architecture, schematic design, and simulation across PVT corners

• Collaborate on layout to ensure performance, matching, and robustness

• Support silicon bring-up, debugging, and lab characterization

• Work closely with system and power electronics engineers to align IC capabilities with overall system requirements

• Take ownership of design decisions and push solutions forward in a fast-paced environment

To succeed in this role, we imagine you have:

• A strong foundation in analog IC design (e.g. amplifiers, regulators, references, data converters, or related blocks)

• Experience with industry-standard EDA tools for design and simulation

• Solid understanding of device physics, noise, mismatch, and layout-dependent effects

• A hands-on, problem-solving mindset and the ability to drive work forward independently

• Comfort making decisions, iterating quickly, and working with incomplete information

• Strong collaboration and communication skills across disciplines

The ideal candidate may also bring:

• Experience with power IC design (e.g. PMICs, gate drivers, DC-DC control)

• Experience taking designs through tape-out and silicon validation

• Familiarity with layout and post-layout verification

• Experience working closely with system or power electronics teams

Why join Skycore?

• Impact: Contribute directly to the silicon enabling next-generation AI power infrastructure

• Innovation: Work on advanced power ICs tightly coupled with novel converter architectures

• Team: Collaborate with highly skilled engineers across IC design, power electronics, and systems

• Growth: Take ownership and shape technical direction as part of a small, high-impact team

• Compensation: Competitive compensation, potential equity participation (warrants), and relocation support where relevant
